talking word processor thing?

I once had this simple word processor on an old macintosh called simple text, which I think still comes with new macs, which would talk what you typed in this cool computer sounding voice.

Anyone know of one of these for the PC?

office xp has that feature incorporated into... i'm not sure, but assuming office v.x (mac?) does as well.

i think windows 2000 and window xp have the as well. it's an accessibility feature. I know i've used it before... I think.
or it may have been some speech recognition software, like ibm viavoice.

there was some internet chat program from a few years ago that used this too...

WindowsXP has one.

And I think that Creative also has a similar software that you can install from the installation CD that comes with their cards. At least it was on the CD of my OLD SoundBlaster AWE32 ISA card (we are talking about Win95 at that time )
