what's a good proxy server?

ok, so i'm basically running my internet to my desktop computer, and using a crossover to connect my desktop to my laptop. I'm running XP on the desktop, and 98 on the laptop. Any suggestions on a good proxy to use?

AnalogX (AnalogX Proxy) offers a free one and so does Fortech (Proxy+).

You can find a decent list of freeware versions here...
