My phone has everything I want, and I also have an Ibook so I don't really need a pda. But I like the Handspring for the cheaper ones, and all out I like the high end Sony Clie.

I have a Handspring Visor Platinum

I love it! Scheduling, to-do lists, contacts, games, news, everything! I just got a GPS add-on, today, so that is one more thing it can do!

I own a Sony Clie 760. It's sleek, got color screen, lots of memory ... but I wish I had the new Clie:

I have a Palm m500. Two main reasons I chose that model: It's small and thin, and it has a silent-vibrate alarm mode.

I've owned a few different PDA's...

My first was a Compaq Handheld PC, before PDA's became the thing. It had 16 MB of RAM Win CE 1.0 and a QWERTY keyboard. I got rid of it not too long after getting it. It was useless. Hardly portable...

Then I got a Palm Pilot used. It worked great for what I used it for. Then it died. Now I'm used an even older Palm Pilot... it's not even a Pilot. It's a Palm.

I've also had a Visor Handspring deluxe... didn't care for it much, just like the palm.

Now I'm getting an Audiovox Pocket PC. I've played around with Pocket PC 2002, and I like it.

It's for portable email, finances, contacts, calendar... oh who am I kidding. It's a toy.

I have a Visor Deluxe. It works fine for me, though i only use it for simple tasks - i use it as a planner, data base, address book. just for basic uses. Are you looking for something for something in specific?

I had a Palm 3e but now I've got a Sony Clie 320. I settled on the Sony since it was compatible with all my old palm stuff, memory stick compatible, and I always have good experiences with Sony products.

I went with the Sony Clie N610C. It's a color PDA and that's the main reason why I picked it. It had the best color resolution in the market at the time and still by far the best today.

I had one of the original palm pilots (the 5000) for awhile. I found for the most part I was only using the builtin apps, and because of the size I didn't carry it w/ me 1/2 the time (esp. during the summer). I switched to the REX6000 (which is essentially a PCMCIA card) and I've been carrying that for years now.

I've got a PALM IIIC and I love it. I got it because i ws familiar with the Palm name and it was the only thing color at GOOD GUYS! when I was ready to buy a PDA.

BTW, I found a VERY cool color app for keeping track of work hours. I use for my second gig.

IF you're going to be using it a lot for business and what not, go and check out the website www.mobileplanet.com and check out all the different accessories that you can get with Palms and Pocket PCs. I have used the Palm in the past and now have a Compaq with Pocket PC and 32 MB of RAM and I absolutely love the new Pocket PC. As much as I hate microsoft and all, I gotta say that this OS is quite nice and fairly easy to use. Palms are nice and all, but I feel the things you can do with the new Pocket PC devices grealy outweigh them.

I really can't get into using a PDA that much. I have had a Palm III for 3 years. I used it some at first, mostly for playing games. Then work got me a Compaq Ipaq. It was cool that you could do so much with it, but all I did was play some games, and hardly ever use it(the battery is probably dead again). I'm eventually going to do a barcoding project at work with it, but so far it mostly sits in my laptop case. My boss uses his all the time.

I have and still use a Palm Personal (with 256kb of memory) daily. If I was to buy another PDA it would probably be a Palm PDA. For me the ease of use and near indestructability of the Palm OS is head and shoulders above Microsoft Pocket PC. They're also a lot cheaper.

That stinks. You dont sync your data with your desktop?

I have a Palm m505 and I love it. It's thin, it's color and it's got the memory card slot. Good stuff. It was just replaced by the m515, but you can still find the m505 around.
