How Odd: Can't Right-Click on Start Menu

It's really weird, but hopefully someone will know what's causing it. Windows ME OS. I cant right-click and choose sort by name and I also can't reorganize stuff that way by dragging it along the bar. This is only on the Windows Start Bar Menu and the Programs, etc. that are involved with it.

I am prevented from right-clicking on anything in the Start Menu. It's not a mouse issue, and it used to work fine...I know ways around it, but it's really annoying me.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thank you!

Are you low on system resources when it does this? If not, I have no clue .. I have an old computer (2 years) and whenever it gets low on resources it does some really tricky things like that.

I thought that would be it, but I restarted and still nothing. Maybe if I do a full shutdown and restart..but I think I already did.

This sucks!

Maybe it's telling you it needs a rest.

You get all that out of not being able to right-click on a Start Menu??
