What can I do with a cd-rw?

I am wondering can you have like different folders on a cd-rw?

For instance I am using the cd-rw to store family photos. If I wanted to seperate them by person having 5 or so different folders or maybe by each month the pictures were taking?

Or is it pretty much just by title description of each picture is how they are organized?

Also, when you name a file does the text lenght matter?

Thanks

Your file structure can be just like on a hard drive.

File names can be pretty long depending on the standard being used. I'd say at least 32 characters, maybe much more. Try it and find out.

I was just concerned about maybe the length messng up the file. I have some that are pretty lenghty.

Thanks!

i only have problems with files over 64 characters in length. also, check your options, and be sure to use joliet (i think it's the default choice)
