Mouse problem, please help

I am using Windows XP and a microsoft intellimouse. Yesterday, for no reason, it started giving me problems. It's a push down pop up series of problems. Right now, the problem is that it's set to scroll whenever the mouse is moved, regardless of whether the left button is held down. How do I make it normal again? I rember seeing a screen, but forgot where, where you can turn on scrolling without holding the left button down.

Yes, I've tried everything I can think of for about an hour and a half. Rolling back drivers, updating drivers, changing ports, uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting, etc.

Thanks for any help.

Never mind, I found the problem. It's comething called "click lock" on the "activities" tab on the intellimouse configuration screen.

I'm answering myself rather than deleting the post because this may happen to me again, or someone else...you never know.
