Getting winamp to play mp3s in IE instead of Quicktime?

Somehow Quicktime took over the mp3 associations (just in IE) but I can't figure out how to get them back to winamp.

Using win2k and IE5.5 if it matters.

open winamp, preferences, setup->file types. select, close
that should do it.
you may also enable the winamp agent to preserve file associations.

I hate when programs do crap like that without telling you that the hell they're doing.
They think they're being all slick but those programmers should be neutered, even if they're being pressured by marketing.
