HELP!!! Can someone answer my DVD Profiler question?ion?

I put in my collection via their database. Now I want to upload it so everyone on the web can view my collection.

What are the steps? I can't find any instructions on how to do it.

Plus, I think I forgot my password--how can I get it again?

THANKS

I haven't used DVD Profiler in a while (I use www.dvdaf.com), but use this link to get your user information (including your password)

http://www.dvdprofiler.com/cgi-bin/login.exe

You will definitely need your password first, it may however be stored when you first downloaded the program. Mines was already there.

All you need to do is click on the icon on the left of the world icon and you can follow the steps on uploading from there.

Hope it turns out OK.

To upload what you have on your computer to their server, just go to Online/My Profiler and upload it that way.

Criptik,
I was wondering how I can link my DVD collection like your in the signature? I have no idea. When I try, it list the whole address and you would have to copy and paste it onto the address bar. Need some lessons here.

Not a problem - and if you forget what that link was for the code, it's at the bottom of every page (but really easy to miss)

Thanks everyone. Found my password and the icon to link to the website.

Now it gives a pop-up error message that said, "The system generated an unrecognized error. Please try again later." This happens when I log into My Profiler via the DVD Profiler database.

Then it says "logging in" for a LOOOOONNNNNGGG time with no results. What's wrong now? ANy suggestions? I already installed the repair kit too.

Also, I'm also trying to download other reports, but the links don't work. Can anyone help on this?

Sorry to sort of ask an OT question in this thread, but I didn't want to start a new one....

... Is there anyway of indicating whether one of the DVDs in my collection has been "sold"? It should fit under the STATUS drop down menu, where the "Loan to custom" is.
