need help, printing web pages cuts off some of it

need help, printing web pages cuts off some of it

When i print from a webpage, it is cutting off the right hand portion of the info. my printer is set for portrait on 8.5" x 11" paper. the text size in the browser is set to medium. i am using IE to surf these pages. prnter is a HP 722 C.

you can try going into the margins and shrinking the margins

ummm... dumb question, but how do i adjust the margins in the browser settings?

try.... print preview... then click the page setup button

i don't see any settings in there for margins.......it seems a lot of web pages aren't designed for printing? most go very far to the right.....some web pages print fine. all my word documents print perfect.

what version of IE are you using?

in print preview of IE6, I have options to change the margin

have you tried changing text size.. not sure if that will matter with the print out though


of course you could always copy it and paste it into word.. then change text sizes or margins to make it fit,, if you get really desperate

You can always do a screen capture of the page and paste it into a paint program to print from.

i am using IE 5.0


i am going to update to 6.0 now.

once again, the members of this forum helped me out. thanks.... i adjusted the margins with IE 6.0.
