An IE Problem

When i use the 'open in a new window' on a link, it opens the link in the new window, but the new browser window is minimised. My browser didn't used to do this, now this is all it does

how can i change it so when i open a link in a new window, the new window is maximised ?

I am using IE 5.5.4134.0600

cheers

Open your browser fresh, drag all the sides to their extremes so you're essentially maximized (but don't use the maximize button on the top right). Open a secondary window and do the same. Close them both. When you restart IE you should get the fake-maximized window for your primary one and secondaries should be about the same size too.
