CD Recording Software Error -- even after 'uninstall'

So I stupidly installed Easy CD Creator on XP, realized/remembered the errors, and uninstalled. Well, I still get this lousy message:

CD Recording Software
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Issue Description:

A CD-recording driver is installed that might cause stability problems, including problems shutting down and problems using a CD/DVD drive. This driver will be disabled.
This driver might have been installed by Easy CD Creator, Windows Media Player or RealJukebox. You might not be able to record CDs until you obtain compatible drivers.

Roxio, Inc. provides an update for Easy CD Creator users at the Easy CD Creator Updates Web site.

Problem is, Roxio DOESN'T provide a patch/update unless you want to pay like $80. NO thanks, I'll use MusicMatch ... if I could. What can I do to get this mystery driver out of my system? I have no idea which one it is. How can I RESTORE my settings to pre-install?

THanks guys!

Um, yes I did. If you look at the times, I created this thread before you replied with directions in the other thread. Nevertheless, I followed your directions, and now things are A-OK.

Thanks!!

Sorry, my bad. Good to hear that your system is OK
