Device driver problems

HI, I can use a little help.

I am running Windows 98, and just reformatted my drive and everything installed fine except for 2 drivers under the Sound, Video, Game controllers.

USB Audio Device
Here is the message I get:
Device is either not working properly, or is not present or does not have the drivers installed

When I use the Cd for the drivers it says "the best driver
windows found is already installed for this device"
But the little exclamation point still shows up in the device manager for this device

Wave Device for Voice Modem
Here is the message I get:
Driver for this device are not installed

Any idea where I might be able to get these drivers?
I checked my Modem CD drivers/windows 98 drivers and my Audio CD drivers but it cannot locate any drivers on the cds for these devices.

Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
