The Wordpad doohickey that comes with WinME is actually fine for typing letters and simple things.

But lately I've been creating presentation-type documents. And wordpad doesn't allow you to wrap text around an image. My goal is to be able to print the final document in a regular 8 1/2 X 11 format.

Are there any decent word processor OR presentation programs that would do what I need? I'd like to keep the price around $100 or less.

free, but a big download (79-105MB download).

StarOffice really is the best free alternative

I guess I'll download their software from work next week.
