Question about CDR and OS upgrade

I'm currently running Windows 98 and have the easy CD creator software on it, the software does not have the "copy as one" option on it. At work i bought a computer and it came with a CDRW and Windows 2000. If I reformat my HD and use the Windows 2000 disc and software should my CR-r work properly?

This is just one of several reasons I'd like to upgrade to Win2K.

My system is a HP Pavillion w/PIII 433mhz 20 GB HD and very little RAM which I'll upgrade some day....

What you should do is check with your CD-R's manufacturer and see if it is Win2K compatible. Chances are it is, but worse case you can always download a patch or update from the CD-R's manufacturer's site (assuming it is available).

You should have no problems reading CDs but you may encounter some problems with burning. Here's some resources for getting your CDR drive to work in Win2k.
