Having DCC problems with SMC 7004ABR and MIRC

Just got a router a couple of weeks ago and since then I have not been able to accept any DCC transfers on IRC. It always comes up as 'Cannot open file.' I suspect that it has something to do with the built-in firewall in the router, but I'm not sure. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using @home cable, and am not sure what boxes and info to put into the Options/Local Info part of the MIRC info box. Can someone help me out? Do I need to change some settings on the router or change something in IRC or both? Thx.

In your "Irc pr4.jpg" you can leave all of the values empty for Local Host and IP Address

Go down to DCC->Options and specify a DCC Port range that you must also specify in your firewall

hope it works for ya, does for me

Thanks, milf. That's good advice, but I also just went ahead and put my host in the DMZ, so it's open to all ports now, and then went ahead and installed a personal firewall. Works fine for now. Thanks again.
