dvd screen capture

I've seen many threads with screen shots taken from DVDs. When I try to screen-capture DVDs with Print-Scrn or various paint programs, it doesn't work. What programs do people use to get those screen shots? Are there any free programs that do this?

I use "PowerDVD 3.0". It has a 'screen capture' button on the 'virtual remote'. It's cool, you can slow down to half speed, pause, and advance frame by frame to get the perfect capture. Then just open up the 'Cyberlink/Images' file, web-host it, and link it where ever you want, such as the otter farm.

Here's an 'altered' Tombstone pic-

My drive came with WinDVD. I looked at the PowerDVD specs once but never noticed it had this feature built right in. Cool! Thanks dvdsteve2000.

Checked download.com too. Only came up with something called Hyper-Snap-DX. Anybody know anything about it?
