Should I bother with DDR?

Well since my motherboard blew up, i know have to get another. Should I bother with a DDR motherboard and memory? I heard it could be finicky, but I am not sure. Any thoughts?

If you are having to buy a new mobo anyway, there's no reason to not go with DDR.

DDR is the way to go if you are getting a motherboard now since the price is about the same for DDR and PC133 SDram.

You might want to wait and get the new via KT266a chipset since it is the fastest one right now. Motherboards should be out real soon.

Olie, you might want to take a look at boards with the SiS 735 chipset, they are pretty much the fastest you can get right now, and pretty much the cheapest (the boards that have it are 6070 bucks) You might look at anandtech for some reviews.
