How do I download an Acrobat form to edit and print?

I'm need to make a submission to my Homeowners association. The form is on the net and when I bring it up it is in Acrobat.

However I can't seem to be able to save and re-open it to complete the form. I rarely use Acrobat so I'm not familar with it. But under file I do not have the choice to save or save as.

I tried printing to file using the extension .doc & .pdf. Seemed to work, but was unable to open the document.

Printing is no problem, but would rather not hand write the thing!

I'm sure I'm not thinking of something simple...thanks for the help.

You need the full version of acobat to edit acrobat files (big bucks). Your stuck with printing it out and faxing or mailing it in..

TLamm nailed it, but I'll add that you can save the file to your local system. Just right click on the link and select "Save Target As..." in IE, or "Save Link As..." in Navigator.

I was somewhat surprised that there's no Save function in the free version of Acrobat, if only for the purpose of making a local copy for later use.

By the way, I'm assuming that you have a page where it is linked that you can right click on. If not, you could make one here pretty easily as long as you have the url.

Check out www.pdfzone.com. Plenty of utilities there, some might help ya.

Thanks for the information. Actually makes me feel better that I didn't miss something easy.

Darren Garrison, I tried your link and got the message "You are not authorized to view this page". Don't think I've seen that in a while.

Try the link again. The original link had a period at the end which made the link bad. It's been fixed now.
