How do you do a screen capture?

I noticed in this thread:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=144866

A lot of people captured their screens.

How is this done?

Win98.

Thanks.

Press the PrtScr (or whatever it's called on your keyboard) button. Then paste into an application. To just print, you can use Paint.

Yeah, there should be a key next to the Scroll Lock key, and above the Insert, Home, Page Up, Page Down, End, and Delete keys.

Just push that, then open MS Paint (comes with win98) or Photoshop or whatever paint program you like and hit ctrl+v. Save what you've created, and you're ready to share.

Prnt Scrn captures the entire screen.
Alt + Prnt Scrn captures just the current window that's open. Sometimes better/easier.

Thanks for the help!

I always thought that was for the printer (Print Screen) and I always wondered why it never worked on any PC I've used.
