Need Windows 98 startup disc

Please help. I had a computer crash and now I need to re-install Windows 98 (original version). I can't find my start-up disc so if someone can either direct me to a site to d/l it or if someone can email the files, I would be in your debit. Thanks.

How are you able to post right now? If you're on a Win9X system right now then you can just make one by going to Start->Control Panel->Add Remove Programs->Make Startup Disk Tab

I don't remember for win98 but I know that Win98 SE or alter can be booted directly from your CD/DVD drive (if it supports it). Or asjuiio said, you can get the boot disk at bootdisk.com

yep, you can boot off your 98 disk
just gotta go into your bios first and change the boot sequence
thats normally the quickest, easiest way.

Windows 98 second edition boot disk will work fine for a reinstall. Just follow Poo at Large's instructions to create it.

It doesn't matter which version it is. All that the Win98 boot disk does is boot to DOS with some utilities to manage your hard drive (like fdisk) and basic CD-ROM drivers so you can access your CD-ROM to re-install windows.
