Floppy drive error

Its a new one ,and I fixed the beeping error also, but i got the the display to work and went into the BIOS.Unfortunately after saving all the changes i made there I wanted to install Windows 98 but the floppy drive was giving me errors.
What could have I done wrong here?

mind if I explain this a little more x?

with a harddrive, the standard is to have the pink part of the cable towards the power source..

but with alot of floppy drives.. it is backwards.. you put it away from the power source..

this is done primarily to confuse people
