HTML help: Auto referesh..

Sorry, but how do you force a page to refresh when it is loaded...
I need an image to refresh, which it should every time the page is loaded. It should do that automatically, but that is not always the case with older versions of browsers, so I want to force a refresh.
Please help soon.

Yikes with the <> around it.

META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="10; url=minifigg.htm"

That will redirect it in 10 seconds, I reckon that's a start..

Someone else will know for sure.

also check out this link
Is it possible to auto-refresh an image every X seconds?

I am not sure if this is what you mean, but here it goes...

If you are using IE:
Tools -> Internet Options.
Under the "General" tab choose "Settings" under the middle section of "Temporary Internet Files"
Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages", change the option to "Every visit to a page"

If you are using Netscape:
Edit -> Preferences
Under "Advanced", choose "Cache"
Where is says "Document in cache is compare to document on network", choose "Every time"

Now I must leave before I pass gas in front of the hottie.

One way is the refresh method (that 10 is in seconds, just up the number to whatever).

The other way is to prevent their browser from storing the page in the first place, so it always has to refresh from the server. To do that, try:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">

Oh, and any META tags must be in the header section of your document (the <head> </head> bit).

If you look at my code, by quoting it or whatever, you'll see what I did - I just put the Bulletin Board Bold tags before and after the < and the >. This then makes the bulletin board read them not as HTML for some reason.
