The installation went very cool, and nice until we booted up and the Mobo had verythign working fine. But the Athlon 1Ghz CPU is reading just 750 MHz.

Look in the manual for the chip and see what the multiplier and Front Side Bus Speed should be set at. Then check the manual for the mobo where you can change the setting for the both of those.

this is not unusual the first time it boots if you are in software mode it will boot to FSB 100. if a problem occurs at start up it will also do this( assuming it has software fsb adjustments which most boards do)

go into the bios and set the FSB to 133( the multiplier is 7.5 so it should boot at 1.0 Ghz.)

let us know if this worked.

Also if the cpu is unlocked you will be able to adjust the multiplier also. do not do this while you are setting up your system since it can create problems wait to test this after you are up and running and you have all drivers and hardware installed.

The BIOS did not do well there was no way to turn it to 1 Ghz, but i found out that one of the jumpers did the trick.I guess you have to mess with the motherboard to get the full use.Got it working now at 1Ghz
