Weird why Roku is having this problem. One would like it would've been noticed before.

How old are the TVs? I don't recommend using smart TVs to stream. Even if it's a Roku tv. That software will eventually get too old and they stop updating it.

I don't recommend it either. My friends were having trouble with YouTube TV on a recent (2-3 yr max) Sony 4K. They got an Apple TV and haven't had one problem since. My nephew just had to do the same thing for his Roku TV (720p cheap)... I put a Fire Stick on it and everything is fine,

Same exact experience for me. For whatever reason, "smart" TVs - even higher end ones - seem to be almost immediately underpowered for running streaming apps. Apple TV has been solid as a rock for me and I haven't looked back.

We try to avoid the onboard software whenever possible.

We’ve been using a 4K Chromecast for a little while now and it’s pretty problem free.
