It aired on CBS from 2003 to 2010.

It's never ever been on DVD or BD or streaming before, but now all 7 seasons are on the Roku channel for free with all the original music is intact.

There are ad breaks since this is a free ad supported app on Roku, but this is great for those who missed it or never got a chance to see it again because it's never been on home video.

What's the story about this show never being released before? Especially with a CBS show. And why isn't this on CBS All Access? Can someone solve this cold case?

The music rights. That's why it's never been released on any home video format. They used period music from each time period for the stories. If it was an 1980s centered episode, they used 80s pop music. If it was a case that occurred during the 1960s. they will use 60s rock and such.

and it's produced by Warner Brothers. That's why it's not on CBS All-Access.

Roku channel got the rights to several Warner Bros complete series with this being one of them. It must have been sold as a package deal and it's probably getting paid for with the ad money from the streams.
