Free CBS App?
 

I get and record CBS OTA but sometimes I have to resort to streaming because the broadcast was screwed up by thunderstorms, scheduling issues etc.

No FREE app that I can find on ROKU 3, smart TV, 4K player, TIVO etc.
Yeah, I know about CBS all access but I'm not willing to pay for a backup.

I do have CBS app on 10" Fire tablet but looking for a way to get it on 75" TV.

Is there any way to get this done I have overlooked?

Perhaps using the free PLEX app and installing the CBS plugin? I don't know if it still works or not but it used to.

This is exactly how I watch CBS, NBC and CW. If I wait a week, I can do ABC and Fox, as well...

I use Plex as my media server for all on my movies and shows on an 8TB Drive I own. I did spring for Plex Pass, as well.

Yup I use Plex for CBS and CW as well. Once you get used to watching your show the next day, its great.

To get channels through Plex, you need a Plex subscripttion or will the free Plex work?

Free works, I havent paid for anything.
