For those who missed out on Lovecraft Country before HBO Max pulled it, it can be purchased for $7.99, along with one other feature from a selection of WB movies for $4.99, at Fanflix.co as part of their Black History Month Special

Yeah, Lovecraft Country wasn't on the chopping block. Not yet at least.

Oh, my mistake. I thought it was already pulled. I guess it's on Tubi and HBO Max then.

I was watching "Sex Before the Internet" on Vice and did not know Real Sex is not available on HBO on Demand on Directv or on HBO Max.

Yeah, they dropped Real Sex, Cathouse and Taxi Cab Confessions back in '18 for some stupid reason.
Edit: Also, apparently HBO Max is no longer merging with Discovery+ entirely (Discovery+ will exist on its own, and it's unknown if all its content will be ported to "Max"): https://deadline.com/2023/02/warner-...ng-1235253134/

What a shit show with regard to the merger of the two services. I would gladly take Discovery+ content in HBO Max, but I am not paying separately for Discovery+

Re: HBO Max — Warnermedia streaming service
The latest news seems to indicate they are still going to put Discovery+ into HBO Max but also keeping Discovery+ separate because they've realized people paying a pittance for Discovery+ don't want an all in service that's more expensive. Seems like they believe that HBO Max customers will be ok with a price hike for more content, but that's just my speculation (original article is paywalled)

I mean how much more are you willing to pay for it?

Don't be confused. All the Discovery content is STILL coming to HBO Max. They're just also keeping the Discovery app for people who aren't interested in HBO stuff and don't want to pay the extra money.

The new name is MAX, proving yet again some wacko executive doesn’t understand the brand is HBO. A brand they have spent decades building.

They also are going to lock "better video quality" behind a more costly tier.
But another source says the opposite is true, that HBO doesn't want to tarnish it's brand with reality garbage:

I have an annual sub on the ad-free tier. I would be most annoyed if they added an even more expensive tier and didn't grandfather in existing subscriptions.

Re: HBO Max — Warnermedia streaming service
According to Bloomberg, the streamer will continue to charge $15-$16 per month for the ad-free version, as much as $20 a month for a new higher-priced tier which will offer better video quality and other high-end features and a cheaper, ad-supported tier for $10 a month.
The streamer will also add thousands of unscripted reality titles from Discovery at no extra cost to HBO Max subscribers, while Discovery+ will continue as its own separate, lower-priced service.

Some bubble CW shows and when they will hit HBO Max. When I say bubble I mean their futures are uncertain.
