I have an LG OLED. I could try it, but I have an Apple TV already, so there's no need for me to. :) If anyone wants to know, however, I can give it a shot.

I tried on my non-OLED LG. Did not work for me.

It worked on my 7-series LG OLED. Looks like it works on the newer models as well.
I thought the non-OLEDs were using the same OS software though. That sucks that it didn't work for you.

I don't know who that is.

But CJ, the girl in the middle of that thumbnail picture is my wife's hiking friend's daughter. So for that reason, we will probably watch. I heard some behind the scenes drama that sounds interesting.

It might be an OS issue. Due to our generation TV, our OS is stuck back and won't be updated. It's fine though as we have HBOMax via our Roku Ultra 4800

There is a deal through Cox Cable right now to add HBO Max for $5/mo for 12 months. I have always gotten HBO Max separately, but for the next year I am more than happy to add it to my massive cable and internet bill at that price.

Eh, it’s 1.5 months. Sure it would have been nice to keep like current. No biggie.

We knew it wouldn’t last, and it was only promised for 2021. I am happy we got what we got.

With the Crunchyroll sale finally going through, I'd expect that whole section to drop off the face of the earth eventually. So if you haven't watched Jujutsu Kaisen or To Your Eternity, do it soonish.

I did see both of those. Quite good.

Since Sony doesn't have a streaming service, where do you think they would go?

Sony owns the Funimation streaming service, bought Crunchyroll, and plan to combine into one service.

Oh, okay. That makes sense. I had no idea that was a paid subscription service but I'm not into anime.

HBO and HBO Max signed a two-year first-look deal with filmmaker Robert Rodríguez, founder of Troublemaker Studios.

As part of the collaboration, Rodríguez will first bring projects to the cabler and streamer for potential development as original series. His son Racer Rodríguez will serve as lead development executive under the pact. Projects could potentially be completed at the studio’s production facilities in Austin, Texas.

Sorry if I asked this before but can a friend use my HBO Max without giving them my credentials or anything?

? How would they log into your account?

Re: HBO Max — Warnermedia streaming service

You could log them in yourself on their device.

You mean I’d have to be there? Can I just put in the code they get on screen and activate on my phone and will be auto logged in without my password or anything? Could have thought I did for dad…
