Even though this version of the DCEU is for all intents and purposes dead, it's still a brand name and it's a big part of what HBO Max's library is going to be. This will be an exclusive. I'm sure they will make a documentary as well about the movement and putting this version together.

It's a big expense because they're going to have to pay the actors to come back and do ADR and such. Plus they have to bring back the special effects team, editing and music team to finish post on it.

With seven days to go before HBO Max launches, WarnerMedia is racing to hammer out a deal with Roku to get the super-size streamer on Roku’s popular over-the-top TV platform. But sorry, Amazon Fire TV owners: It appears that HBO Max will not be there for you on May 27.
WarnerMedia and Roku are currently in negotiations on a pact for HBO Max, a Roku spokesperson confirmed to Variety.
The main sticking points on a HBO Max/Roku agreement likely revolve around how big a cut of subscription fees Roku will take, as well as WarnerMedia’s apparent insistence that HBO Max be made available as an app (without the option of being a channel add-on in the Roku Channel).

I mean if your service isn't already active, you could sign up for a year of HBO Max and then when it's over start using the cards again. My service is still active so I just have to keep using the cards (I have enough to get me through the end of this year and will just hope for more this December). The discount pricing saves what $36 for one year? Not a huge deal and not as good as the cards, which would save $72 in a year, I think

For anime, the biggest anime titles scheduled to launch would be from Studio Ghibli (Castle in the Sky, The Cat Returns, From Up On Poppy Hill, Howls Moving Castle, Kikis Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, My Neighbors the Yamadas, Nausicaδ of the Valley of the Wind, Ocean Waves, Only Yesterday, Pom Poko, Ponyo, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, The Secret World of Arrietty, Spirited Away, The Tale of The Princess Kaguya, Tales From Earthsea, When Marnie Was There, Whisper of the Heart). The Wind Rises was initially announced to launch sometime this fall, but it's not 100% if that got moved up or not.
In addition to Studio Ghibli, Crunchyroll (part of WarnerMedia) will stream select anime titles at launch. Titles include 91 Days, Berserk, Bungo Stray Dogs, ERASED , Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, In/Spectre, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Keep Your Hands off Eizouken, Kill la Kill, Kiznaiver, KONOSUBA -God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (Directors Cut), Rokka -Braves of the Six Flowers, Rurouni Kenshin, Schwarzes Marken, The Testament of Sister New Devil, and Your Lie in April. Death Note and Hunter x Hunter are to stream at a later date.

The Gossip Girl update has been postponed until 2021. They have not even started shooting yet because of the production shutdowns.
I think a lot of the scripted HBO Max originals are going to be postponed until 2021 or 2022.
Michael Mann was working on Tokyo Vice in Japan and they also had to shutdown.

I mean if your service isn't already active, you could sign up for a year of HBO Max and then when it's over start using the cards again. My service is still active so I just have to keep using the cards (I have enough to get me through the end of this year and will just hope for more this December). The discount pricing saves what $36 for one year? Not a huge deal and not as good as the cards, which would save $72 in a year, I think

Besides, why give Apple money for no reason.On Sunday I was going to watch John Oliver then realized I had canceled.
I did watch the sports segment on YouTube.

I have HBO through DirecTV, so I assume there will be some kind of sign in credential option on it since I'm technically paying through an AT&T company.
I thought about cancelling my HBO subscription and then just signing up through this. But, I'm currently on multiple promos on DirecTV through July.
Once this launches, I might as well delete HBO Go off my Apple TV, Roku and iPad as I will never use that app ever again.
