Probably 6 or 7 at any given time. It depends. I frequently cancel/resubscribe from month to month.

Right now I have Netflix, Prime, Hulu, VRV and WWE. I also have Shudder even though VRV offers it, because I got a great discount on an Annual Pass and it was the only way to watch the Joe Bob marathon. I just cancelled HiDive and Boomerang.

Sometimes I'll subscribe to Acorn, Britbox, Hallmark, HBO if there's something I want to watch.

Looks like VRV just lost Shudder. That sucks.

It's still a good deal for Crunchyroll subscribers. It's only $2 more, and you get HiDive & Boomerang.

On the positive side, they added a bunch of MST3K and Shout Factory stuff. But I hope they get something to replace Shudder. That's a huge loss.

What happened to my Nicksplat Premium membership?

We’re making some changes to VRV--part of this unfortunately includes removing Nicksplat from our channel lineup. As of August 28, 2020, Nicksplat is no longer available.

Is VRV included in the sale of Crunchyroll to Sony? If not, RIP VRV.

An article on Engadget mentioned that VRV was included.

VRV is losing HIDIVE at the end of the month.

I wonder if Funimation will return to VRV. Or maybe they'll close it down. No point in keeping it running with just Crunchyroll.

VRV is losing Rooster Teeth on Dec 13th.

I dropped my subscription last month and went back to basic Crunchyroll. There's no point in paying extra for VRV anymore.

It's a shame. This was once a terrific bargain.

VRV announced it's ending and merging into Crunchyroll

I also got an email announcing the change. I'm not an anime person, so I never got into this service. When it 1st started, it was a pretty good value with a bunch of services mixed in, but they slowly started losing content through the years.

Re: VRV - The Best Deal In Streaming Services?

It's a shame. VRV was an amazing deal about 5 years ago. But they lost one service after another. At first, they tried to find replacements. After a while, they stopped adding new stuff, and just let it slowly die. For the past 3 years it's been running on life support. After losing HiDive two years ago, the only thing left was Crunchyroll. And it was cheaper to just subscribe directly to Crunchyroll.
