I've been having this problem all day. I can't get my Vudu library to transfer to Movies Anywhere.

I've been able to connect all the services. And movies from the other services have transferred to my Vudu library. But none of my Vudu movies have transferred over.

I've tried waiting 3-4 hours, and I've disconnected/reconnected, but nothing seems to work.

Hopefully it'll fix itself sometime later today.

Passed the 3 hour mark and none are showing for some reason. Sure that things are busy but would have expected to see something by now. Checking my vudu account, it does say that it is linked to Movies Anywhere. Will just give it more time but it is taking awhile.

It did take a few tries of connecting and unconnecting, but it finally worked. Haven’t had time to see if they mostly match up with my Vudu, iTunes, and Amazon movies that have been ported over. Sucks James Bond (aka damn MGM) isn’t a part of it - yet. I hope they hop on board this time since they never did with UV.

Re: Movies Anywhere - News, Rumors & Discussion

Having trouble linking my Amazon account. It goes to Amazon, and I log in, but then it asks me to push "Okay" which I do, but then it just goes back to movies anywhere and my accounts still aren't linked. I can do this over and over, but it doesn't link and nothing ports over.

EDIT: and of course, as soon as I post that, I try one more time, and it works, so whatever, lol.

Re: Movies Anywhere - News, Rumors & Discussion

Try logging out of MA then logging back in and check the status. Mine updated that way. And it does take a little time for movies to port. Per the MA faq, about an hour or so, depending on how much you have to move over.

Vudu is the only movie app on the Shield that can output Atmos right now, so there's that...

I'm hoping Disney/Marvel movies will start showing up on Vudu eventually.

Hmm, The Lion King is only showing in Vudu and iTunes and not in MA or GP. Pretty sure it was in my DMA, I remember people were saying when the new Lion King release came out people were having problems, and I remember checking mine. I only had the old one.

I finally got it to come through at it tells me: "This account cannot be migrated. Please choose a different account to migrate."

It's only two movies, Wreck-It Ralph and Monsters Inc. Maybe I'll just have to check with Disney Movies Anywhere. Both movies show up in my Amazon account, but didn't transfer over from there either.

Re: Movies Anywhere - News, Rumors & Discussion

Well, Vudu finally transferred over but the free movies (that show up every where else) do not show up in Vudu - what made them transfer was buying a movie on vudu - we are supposed to get the free offer movies on vudu as well, or at least that is how I interpreted it.

It links digital purchases/redemptions made across various platforms. For example, all of my Vudu and Amazon purchases from studios that are part of this now show up in my iTunes library.

Probably not, but as long as there is a VUDU app, you're fine. It just expanded your VUDU catalog.

We had to call to get the upgrade. They stopped doing it on 10/9. Hopefully it shows up for you at least in HD.

Of note, the movies that came from Amazon to MA do not sync to UV even though they are both UV and MA per VUDU.

That's weird. It did for me when the titles finally arrived on Vudu.

That's exactly what this service does, it links your VUDU, Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play libraries and ports the movies from one service to all the others.

If you have a movie in one service but no the others, it should add them to the other services.

I have a bunch of unused iTunes digital copies that I will be redeeming now that they can port to VUDU.

Unlike others, I do think this will have an app on Xbox and some smart tv's eventually. Right now, just Roku and mobile apps.

Awesome, freaking commentary tracks. Now if we can just get subtitles, it can go somewhere...which I have not figured out at all on my ROKU that I keep in the master bedroom. Maybe I'm an idiot and just don't know how.

Also noticed something, I have a couple of titles in SD only (cause I got it for a $1 or something) through VUDU. Well once they transferred over, those same titles (if available) are now HD in Amazon Video. It appears that it does not store "quality" in the MA distinction...so everything is HD if it ports to another service. Which sucks on the other end too because I know Amazon has some 4k material and the Amazon App through my LG 4k is not detecting any of my VUDU 4k titles as such. What a world, what a world.

That's not my experience. I have a few titles in SD (where HD is available) from Vudu and from Amazon, and they show up SD on each other and on itunes (I couldn't tell what quality I had on GP)
