Here's another movie channel plus it's free(but has commericals).

I was informed today via email from Roku Guide .

Watching Mothman.

I guess the original company went defunct but merged with LionsGate.

I just noticed this app today and decided to add it.

For an app with free movies it's not too bad. The content has commercials, but it doesn't look like there are many commercial act breaks.

I remember the Vidmark brand very well from it's VHS days. I rented quite a few of their titles. But, it does seem like most of it here is Lionsgate oriented.

I think Vidmark and Trimark were both absorbed by what became Lionsgate.

They do have the first two Avengers animated movies along with the Doctor Strange animated movie(which are both owned by Lionsgate).

Haven't used this app in awhile, but I decided to fire it up yesterday. Looks like they re-designed the app to make the artwork for the titles look like an old school video store.

I watched Final Shot: The Hank Gathers Story. It's an old TV movie from the early 1990s about college basketball player Hank Gathers's life until he died from an heart ailment when he was only 24 years old. He collapsed and died in the middle of a game.

It was okay for it's time. Some of the basketball scenes were poorly directed and it was so obvious they lowered the basketball rims so the actors could dunk. I never saw this movie from start to finish when it originally aired.

For some reason, the movie played with no commercials.

Tragic story though.
