I'm not sure about other platforms, but on the AppleTV app you can move ahead several hours in the guide.

It's not as intuitive or convenient, but you can see upcoming programming for several hours for a single channel by:
  • Mobile app - tapping on the channel's icon in the live guide
  • TV app (any platform) - clicking on the channel "button" on the far left of the live guide
