Amazon Video is having a Fox sale. Picked up This is Us and Cosmos: A Space Odyssey for $9.99 each, $64.95 for Prison Break 1-4 + the final extended finale and $24.95 for five seasons of Brain Games :D $108.xx for 89 hours of content!

Right on time I'm 45 minutes from catching up to the mid-season break of The Walking Dead :D I think Prison Break may have to be next, mainly for Private Practice's Dr. Freedman.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

 Though that seems high for Prison Break to me.

I've been watching some random episodes of Brain Games on Netflix lately, pretty enjoyable show

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

That is kinda high for Prison Break since all of the Blu-ray sets were $14.99 at Target last week...actually they still are. I've wanted to see this show ever since I saw Dominic Purcell & Wentworth Miller in Legends of Tomorrow during their first season. The chemistry between those two is unreal and even though I'm not much for Prison scenarios, I think the interaction between these two would win me over.

Didn't really need it since I got a free Google Play copy a couple of years ago, but since I could use some of my ample Xbox credit on it and will be getting the $5 back to me, I figured why not?
Now I just have to catch the email of the code when it comes in (Before Jan 6, 2017 it says in the fine print). If you do this deal as well, please post a reminder if you see the email for the $5 code arrive. I tend to miss things in my inbox xometime.

Not sure I even own this movie, so I used some Xbox credits on it, flipping them for other Xbox credits. :)

Amazon now has SW for $64.99 also in HD ($68.99 for SD).

BTW I got 750 Disney Movie Rewards (for some reason Ep 4 wasn't added to my Disney Movies Anywhere acct or points added for I got 150 points each for the other 5).

dfmaverick2 12-18-16 10:31 PM

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

I believe Ep 4 is UV compatible instead of Disney Movies Anywhere since Fox still owns the distribution rights to Ep 4.

This is correct. The original Star Wars is not compatible with Disney Movies Anywhere. So it won't go into your DMA collection. And it won't transfer to the other streaming services.

It is UV-compatible. So if you buy it at a UV streaming service (like Vudu or FandangoNow), it'll go into your UV library.

50% Off any movie at Google Play.

https://play.google.com/redeem?code=...2S1UJENMUYE4XQ

Use it on a Disney Movies Anywhere title, and it'll transfer to Vudu, iTunes, Amazon, etc.

You can get the Star Wars bundle for $40. The Iron Man 3-movie bundle is $20 and the Captain America 3-movie bundle is $19.

But, as has been noted many times in this forum, Star Wars (A New Hope) is owned and distributed by Fox and it will not transfer with the other movies through DMA.

Even if you already own these movies at Vudu, it's worth picking up for the iTunes Extras. They all have extra features and a few have audio commentary tracks.

FandangoNOW has Underworld (2003) HD for $1.99 right now:

It's a UV title, so should transfer to Vudu or any other UV compatible service.

Interesting, hopefully a UV compatible digital copy. Pay once to see it in the theater, own it forever. I typically would never see those films in the theater, but I may try this.

Microsoft has the first seasons of Dragon Ball Z and Fairy Tail for free. Note that these have been offered before (probably multiple times), but when I went to those product pages they showed as unpurchased. Apparently they replaced the SKUs at some point because if I scroll through my collection I can see the old seasons, which are still watchable, but they aren't the ones they're currently selling. So I went ahead and claimed the new ones.

Just to let you folks know, BFG (Disney Movies Anywhere) is on Amazon for $2.99 which is unheard of for a Disney title. I just ported it over to VUDU with no issue (learned how to connect my Amazon Video to DMA even though it's a different email) once purchased. Enjoy!

Amazon has a few more movies for $2.99.

Unlawful Entry
Heist
Tank Girl
The Getaway (1994)
Impromptu
Unmistaken Child
Burning Love
Secret Of Santa Vittoria
Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show
Pink: Funhouse Tour Live in Australia
Devil Dogs of the Air
Little Gobie
Eight On The Lam
Beyoncé's I AM...WORLD TOUR

I'm surprised that The Getaway is available. It might be my only HD DVD that was never ported over to BD, and it seemed to be in copyright limbo for quite a while. I'll grab it and The BFG.
