I have the SD on Vudu, and it seems adequate. I was less impressed when I walked closer to the TV, as expected.

I ended up getting A Christmas Story Christmas so I can watch that sledding scene again. I also bought the Rankin and Bass Jack Frost. I remember liking it as a kid.

Essential Holiday 4 film bundle is on sale at iTunes for $19.99 It has Polar Express 4K, Elf 4k, A Christmas Story 4k and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 4k. That comes out to about $5 each. They're being sold for $7.99 each on Fanflix.

I have been trying to reduce my streaming purchases to zero but eventually caved on this one and selected: Lawrence of Arabia, Taxi Driver and District 9 all in UHD on MA with a decent selection of extras for each at a grand total of $10.50 using the MADNESS30 code. Pretty satisfied!

I looked at the sale the first time when I posted it and didn't see anything I was dying to have. I looked over it again after your post and ended up getting 4Ks of The Holiday, 1776, and You Can't Take It With You. It's not bad for $3.50 per movie.
