They actually posted that HDR10 is coming, and also specifically mentioned 4K pricing, but only that price drops will continue. It's clear that they know that people want them to go the Apple route, but we'll see.

The code works on TV seasons (keep in mind Fandango's sketchy TV UV) as well but not bundles. It's a shame I really can't commit to anything though (and the $4.99 deals stink for the most part).

2nd Edit:
Got Hercules Legendary Journey Season 1 for $4.50 after the discount. It's not UV and is SD (but it was filmed that way), but I do use the Fandango App on my X1 enough to where I can take advantage of a good deal like that. Plus the less I have to open my original DVD box sets the better.

Here's a weird thing : I wanted to buy Better Call Saul S3 -- I clicked on the link and it appears that S3 isn't UV. I click on the little circle icon above for S1 or S2 and they are UV. -- Nothing weird yet, but if you then click the link for S3, it shows as UV. I will buy S3 if I know it's UV, but the site literally tells me it is AND it isn't. :hscratch:

I own BCS Season 3 on Vudu, and it's not UV yet. The same thing happened with Seasons 1 & 2. It wasn't UV until the Bluray release date.

I don't know about TV shows on Fandango Now. I'd previously heard that they didn't offer UV on TV shows. But I guess some shows have started to get UV rights.

I only know about Vudu. All the AMC shows I've bought at Vudu eventually got UV, but it takes a few months.

Yeah, some shows on Fandango do have UV rights, it's just as I said sketchy. But they are getting better...they have sent me several surveys and they seem to be taking certain things to heart. If I was to make an honest determination about BCS Season 3...I would say it does get UV rights in Fandango eventually. BUT...when it does, you will probably need to give a quick email to Fandango's help desk to push it across. I had to do that with several episodes of Nikita S1 which I've been slowly (and we mean slowly) collecting off freebies.

Last month, I had a 50% coupon on FandangoNOW, so I preordered Game of Thrones, Season 7. The episodes went live on 9/24; however, despite the UV logo, they didn't port over to my UV account. I went through the customer service notification pages and they eventually activated the episodes to my account....well, sort of. At first only a couple episodes transferred over. These were episodes that I had partially watched. So, I went through the process again and now all of them show up.

I, too, had wondered, as noted by others, if the episodes wouldn't be eligible for UV until the blu-ray actually came out, but they're linked up now, so who knows.

The DVD of Iceman was pan and scan too- only widescreen release has been on laserdisc. Still don't like it enough to go to The Dark Side though.

FWIW, I just bought Constant Gardener via that link. It transferred immediately to VUDU via UV but did NOT transfer from VUDU to MA. I see that the movie is listed on MA, but they prompt me to buy it and when I click on the VUDU link, it shows "You already own this title".
Therefor I assume that buying titles from Fandango Now transfers them to VUDU if they're UV, but they're not MA.
(though lots of other Fandango Now Deal of the Day movies DID transfer over. Maybe it just takes a while -- or maybe you have to unlink and re-link)

I wonder if all UV prior to setting up MA will transfer from VUDU to MA but not if purchased after setting it up. It is worth mentioning UV was down earlier for a few minutes. May be delayed syncing.

That shouldn't be true. It should go Fandango, Vudu, and then MA. Well, considering it took 2-3 hours for my VUDU to appear in MA, then perhaps that's what it will do with these Fandango titles too. 20 minutes to appear in VUDU and then 2-3 hours to appear in MA. If not, looks like we'll need to unlink and then re-link (cause that for sure would work) maybe once a week. I'll take down the distinction for now until we know for sure, but it can't be an one-time thing. Just doesn't make sense once you think it through *fingers crossed*

1. Set up a Movie Anywhere account.
2. Connect that account up to Amazon by going to the pull down menu on the top right, selecting Manage Retailers, and Connect next to Amazon Video and following the instructions (it'll take you to amazon, require you to login and approve the connection)
3. Do the same thing for vudu
4. Wait for some amount of time. Then wait some more.
5. If everything went as it should have, those movies that are eligible will port over. Not every movie is eligible, but most movies that aren't from Paramount or MGM or Lionsgate should port over.

However, it's possible that it may take a longer amount of time, or disconnecting and reconnecting those accounts, to get it to work (the service is still new, so expect some issues)

FandangoNow has it for $17.99 - 20% if you still have the coupon. That at least makes it to UV...Paramount just isn't part of the MA picture yet.
