Thanks for the Freebies, I think I might have them on Microsoft movies too, but free is free :). (And I use Amazon more so even better)

Sorry I was gone for a few days, a lot of rough things going and tough decisions to be made. And to top it off my wife and I had reservations to go on a weekend trip this weekend and nearly didn't make the plane. So the actual vacation, fantastic. Everything before and after? A great pile of dung.

Yeah...to make a long story short: my wife and I were on the way to San Antonio to drop off our toddler with grandma. The car broke down (running very hot) in the middle of nowhere (and it had to be left at a Whataburger) and it took grandma and company 2 hours to get to us. We took one of their vehicles to the airport to make our flight because this was me and my wife's first trip out of state alone since we were dating (3 years ago roughly). So only because I had factored in enough time did we barely make our flight....I mean barely.

And it was only a weekend trip so we were back on Sunday. Monday morning, rented a rental car and had to drive back to the Whataburger (and take PTO time) and luckily the car started and was able to drive 70 miles to a dealership (It's a VW). It was outside my tow limits on my insurance (24 miles) so I had to take a chance. I made it, going 60 miles an hour and watching as everybody else gave me the finger going 75.

So, I did make it to the dealership. Turns out it was leaking transmission fluid and a couple of other minor things. So I'll have it back today fixed.

In the midst of all of that pain in the ass, I was also deciding about whether to stay at my old company or go to a another one down the street. I'll be starting that new job come 2nd week in August. Yeahie me....I think...
