Shudder just updated their Roku app. There's now a Favorites feature, which is probably the biggest improvement.

There's also an option to browse "All" movies. But unfortunately, it's just a random list of titles which makes it impossible to find what you're looking for. They should at least have a way to sort titles by "A-to-Z" or by "Year" or "Recently Added".

As I said previously, I would be interested, but with Fall TV starting and having a backlog on several Netflix and Amazon shows, I just don't have the time. If you're a horror fan and have the time, seems like it's a cool service to have.

It's really an awesome service. They've put together a great selection of movies. Almost everything there is worth watching. There's very little filler.

And I'm amazed at some of the movies they've been able to acquire. I never thought I'd see many of these titles available on a streaming service.

They do have a great selection, and I'd probably subscribe if I ever gave away all my physical media. But with 10k or more films on disc, most of them horror, it's hard to justify another monthly fee.

Just signed up for the free trial the other day.

The Roku app is a little confusing to navigate to be honest. I don't think the stuff is organized very well.

Surprised to see Faces of Death on there. Watched a little. I recall the movie was straight to video 4:3 SD. Looks like they cropped it to make it into 16:9.

I remember back in elementary school Faces of Death was so taboo. Now I see how fake it is.

The Roku app is a work in progress. They're constantly tweaking it. I agree with you that it's poorly organized. It's easier to use the website and add movies to your Favorites list.

I have Shudder(through Amazon Prime) and I noticed they also have Scream Box but I can't find very much info on that streaming channel. Does anyone know how often do they add movies?

I can't believe they have the widescreen version of Gothic (1986). I don't think that's ever been released OAR since the original theatrical showings. The DVDs have always been crappy fullscreen prints.

It's also great to see the widescreen versions of Waxwork (1988) and Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992). It took forever to get an OAR release of that. I'm glad they grabbed the new widescreen HD transfers instead of the old fullscreen prints.
