Joe Bob posted on Twitter that Demon Wind would be leaving Shudder. So if you want to watch that Last Drive-In episode, do it soon.

So yesterday Shudder auto renewed my subscription for another year for $44 and change.

I don't mind that price, but I would have appreciated some kind of e-mail alerting me that I was about to be billed soon.

Not a biggie, I watch them every now and then.

That's why I don't do yearly subscriptions if I don't have too. I can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago so receiving unexpected bills isn't a pleasant thing.

I'll enter it on my phone calendar so a reminder pops up a few days before it renews.

Yea, it's on you to keep track of auto-renew dates on any service. I always set a reminder on my calendar 2 days before any auto-renewal charge. Why in the hell would they send out an email to remind you?

They would rather that you forget.

People forgetting and being too lazy to cancel is probably how most of these streaming services make like half their money.

Have you guys had any buffering problems with Joe Bob lately? It started last week for me.

It's fine for me this week.

The previous two weeks, I had trouble connecting during the first 3-4 minutes.

Re: Shudder - AMC's streaming service for Horror fans

As a big enthusiast of movie making, I thought One Cut of the Dead was absolutely AWESOME. I’m so glad to have the Last Drive-In, not only for Joe Bob, but for introducing me to movies that may have otherwise passed me by unnoticed.

His speech after the end of the movie was just so moving. What a great experience.

Re: Shudder - AMC's streaming service for Horror fans

Shudder posted this on Twitter regarding the Joe Bob's Last Drive-In episodes that are no longer available.

We're working on posting "host-only" (movie-free) versions of all unavailable past episodes/specials, in all territories, starting later this year.

No. It's a separate streaming service.

Gotcha. Thanks. As long as I get my Creepshow, I’m good.

I still have to catch up on the second movies for the past several weeks. I watch the first movie live on Fridays, but it's too late for me to stay up for both..

Creepshow's first season hit Blu-ray recently with commentaries from producers and directors. Some episodes get multiple commentaries.

Re: Shudder - AMC's streaming service for Horror fans

They still have code: SHUTIN on their twitter page and I just used it again. I think that was the 2nd time, and I got a free month when I cancelled last time. (all on same account)

With nothing new on, I decided to hack through Joe Bob. I never watched any of his shows before (even prior to Shudder). To me, he's very hit or miss. I'm not sure I get all the fascination with him. Personally, I would prefer he talk before/after instead of the breaks in the middle. Anyway, I started with the two full seasons (except of course what's been pulled) and when I got caught up to the live episodes, I went back and did all the small ones. Got 1/2 way through the Halloween one, and just have the 2nd Christmas one left. I even watched the ones where I had recently watched just the movie on Shudder.
