Free $5 VUDU Credit

Text "FUNNY" or "LAME" to MyVUDU (698838) and receive a $5 VUDU Credit Code.

Did not mention an expiration date. I believe this is a promo for their "watch VUDU anywhere"

I just did this. It didn't work with my my prepaid AT&T phone nor my Google Voice account... but I was able to try it on my work BlackBerry (also AT&T) and it worked fine. Both "FUNNY" and "LAME" returned the same promo code, so I don't have an extra to share.

Redeem the codes here:

Google Voice almost never works with 6-digit text promotions. Apparently the receiver can determine which provider is sending the text.

Thanks OP. It worked fine for me.

Actually worked for me, cool! Enough for a D2D, now, to decide what....

God, I wish I could convert discs, but I can only do DVD without a BD-ROM drive.

Buy a BD-Rom?

Oh wait, USB External BD drives are still expensive, damn, I thought they were dirt cheap since my Internal BD-R drive was so cheap.

I guess they never really came out with any that just read Blu-rays (there is one that's still $34), all of the other externals are Bluray Burners so I guess the $75 price tag is more justified.

Yeah, I would if they were cheaper. Apparently they haven't expanded their D2D anyway, there's still all kind of stuff you can't get with it. I was going to use it with my Raiders DVD, but apparently not, and The Road Warrior still hasn't fixed the aspect ratio.
