Same...it was a pleasant surprise...that doesn't happen often.

My renewal email from a couple weeks ago said I'm renewing at 99.99. Not sure if that will include Showtime but it's the ad-free plan.

Too many commercials and the programming is great, it's worth a little extra to me now. Hoping they'll let us get that deal ee passed on but can't even get through to ask.

For the first time ever, it also had a phone number listed. I called and was told my wait time would be 1 hour. Well, I'm working from home today, bring it. My wait time was around 40 minutes. The CSR heard me out and consulted with others on whether this would work. They finally decided if I try to upgrade on my own, it will likely go through but if not, they will override it for me. He waited on the phone with my when I upgraded and boom, it worked.

We went from 1 year of Paramount+ Essential for $25 to 1 year of Paramount+ Premium and Showtime for $75 and I'm happy!
I just got an email that my price is going down when it's time to renew in 2024. Instead of $150 for the year, it will be $120 for what we have now:

Great news! As of 2/16/23, the price of your Paramount+ Premium with SHOWTIME® plan has DECREASED, from $14.99/month or $149.99/year, to $11.99/month or $119.99/year. This is the new, low price for the Premium with SHOWTIME® plan. The pricing change will go into effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

I know there are some people who still think Paramount + is just the "Star Trek streaming service", but IMO it has really improved since the changeover from CBS All-Access. They have more originals and are getting more movies. I know not everyone likes the same thing, but I think it's slowly becoming one of the better streamers.

Yeah if you had Showtime bundled in before this is a better deal. If you don't care about showtime content (like say you only subscribed for Star Trek or Nick or whatever), the price went up and you have no choice.

Yeah I did too. It'll be cheaper for me when it renews in September.

I'm part of the bundle deal, but is Showtime still going to be a separate app? It's weird how Paramount has profiles and Showtime doesn't.

Yeah that is what I renewed at a few weeks ago, too.

Yeah, got that email earlier, as well. It'll basically be $10 cheaper for the bundle when it renews for me in October.

This is very confusing. I'm paying $9.99 a month for "premium" now, but I don't get Showtime. So are they saying my "premium" is going up to $11.99 and I WILL get Showtime included?

I'm still on the Paramount "we can't fix our Apple billing system so we will give it you free" plan... Haven't paid since August.

Showing our plan will renew at $99.99. Yet we have a discount showing for 59% off for 12 months from a code I previously entered. I highly doubt we'll get that off that annual plan. Not considering going monthly. And don't suspect we'll have any of the Showtime content.

I would hate too see other streaming services show their selection of movies like Paramount Plus(at least with Amazon Prime ) does. All as one with no separation of movie genres.

Raises hand..Yep ,that's me. But yeah, I've branched out on this service and have found quite a few shows I enjoy on it. This and HBOMax are neck and neck for my top services.

I think all the codes have dried up. I was looking last month and I saw was a free month. I went ahead and re-upped at $99 since I still use it often.

They still have multiple 30-day trial codes per month being put out. Can be used by both new and returning customers. I just google "doctorofcredit paramountplus" to find the latest code whenever I need to sign up. I have my billing setup with a virtual credit card that has a low dollar amount allowed (like $4) so that I can't be charged if I forget to cancel my trial.

What annoys me is I want to pay for Trek BUT they can't even bother to release modern trek in 4k hdr and atmos. Not paying a dime until that happens. Just 2 weeks ago I seen their own crew saying we have to be at top of our effects game because we shoot in 4k....

Re: Paramount+ (formerly CBS All-Access) - ViacomCBS streaming service

There is a new 1 month free promo code for Paramount plus with Showtime.

Springstreaming

Expires April 2nd. Probably not enough time to watch Rabbit Hole, Yellow Jackets and Picard in that timeframe as all are airing weekly.
