My 18mos for $10 sub is going to expire soon, I see no real reason to re-up. Probably renew every so often for a month and burn through all the new content I want to watch.

I would recommend Mayor of Kingstown, but I know you loathe sadistic violence and criminal behavior by the protagonists, so I don't think it's for you.

Must be something like the CBS All Access deal bundled with Sportsline or something. Mine is expiring soon too and like Eric, I probably won't reup, at least not for close to full price.

I have mine bundled with Showtime for $9.99 via Apple TV+ subscription add on. It has no expiration date. The only thing is that I have to have a current APTV+ subscription to get that price.

Paramount + has a new 1 year promo. The code is NewYear and you get 37% off the annual price.

So the essential plan is $49.99 plus the 25% off would bring it down to around $37 or year? Plus there is $4.50 back on Rakuten so if my math is correct this is doable for me. I had no intention of renewing and Im not due until March.

How could your 18 months be expiring? Paramount Plus launched March 4, 2021. About 9 months ago. I have it until late July 2022.

I’ve heard mixed things about Mayor of Kingstown, but there’s so much to watch now I don’t know when I’ll get around to it. I’m finishing up Superstore now and then the last season of The Expanse is up next. Ton of stuff I’ve been meaning to get to on HBO as well.

I just remembered that T-Mobile is offering some deal on Paramount+.
https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/paramount-plus-deal
Looks like it's the essential plan that doesn't include the live CBS feed and has commercials. I haven't watched much Paramount Plus recently, maybe I'll go with the free year.

The 37% off Paramount plus promo deal expires today. Tonight's your last chance. Who knows when they will offer another discount deal for 1 year.

Darn!! I was going to sign up yesterday, but I didn't have my credit card with me at the time. When I was checking the promo code the past few days, it was only coming up to a 25% discount.
They do have a 25% off the Essential plan for verified students. Since my daughter is taking a few college classes at the local community college, she should qualify. That will end up being $3.75 plus whatever tax they add per month. I think it may only be good on the monthly plan, but I'm going to double check before I sign up.

Last year we switched to the yearly plan with the promo code for 50% off. When we were charged they charged full price. I called support and was told the promo for existing customers would be for the 2nd year.
It did show up on our account as an active promo for a while. Then one day it changed to "Null% of Null Nulls" or something like that. I've called them multiple times and they say they cannot see what I see and that our account is 50% off a one year rate.
Every time I've called. Same thing. Our 2nd year starts later this month. Well.
Received ban email about the annual renewal. Yep it shows full price. So tried calling again. A few times. Seems like they never pick up before I have to give up the call (over 1 hour one time).
Here's to hoping I can get someone to answer and get this confirmed as accurate for 50% off 2nd year.
