re: Paramount+ with Showtime - ViacomCBS streaming service
I was listening to a movie podcast and they were talking about the movie Big Night. Paramount Plus is the only subscription service that has it. I spent five minutes trying to figure out how to add it to my watchlist until I finally remembered that they don't have one....

Has anyone else with ad-free started seeing an ad for another P+ show before the show you're watching starts? I guess they don't consider that an ad somehow.

As long as their skippable I don't mind. Are they skippable? Amazon's are.
Also as far as interfaces go, this and Prime are at the bottom so I guess it makes sense they share something like this.

To Joe Public an Ad is an Ad right? Whatever you call it, its something keeping me from my show so it sucks.
But Streaming Services/TV/Radio view what you're talking about as Promos not Ads So when they say "Ad Free" them promoting shows or self promoting on the service doesn't fall under that. HBOMax does the same. I hit player to watch a movie or show but I'm shown promo first for something else on HBOMax then the movie.

Paramount+ is finally adding a Watchlist later this month.
They'll also add 1,000 movies from the Epix catalog on June 10th.
And the $5/month ad-supported plan should now be available.

Paramount+ has announced a significant expansion to its content slate starting this summer, which will kick off with the exclusive premiere of Mark Wahlberg's sci-fi action thriller Infinite on the streaming service on June 10. According to a press release, the streamer also confirmed that more than 1,000 premium movies would be debuting in the available library starting that same day for subscribers, including award-winners, fan-favorites, and family-friendly titles, as well as a new sports package including hundreds of marquee soccer matches.
Some of the films that will be available for Paramount+ customers to stream include Terminator: Dark Fate, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Skyfall, The Avengers, Rocketman, Judy, Little Women, Charlotte's Web, Saint Maud, Crawl, Pet Sematary, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, and School of Rock. Original series programming includes the Rugrats reboot, the iCarly revival series, which premieres on June 17, an all-new season of The Good Fight premiering on June 24, and a new season of Star Trek: Lower Decks premiering on August 12.
The streamer has also confirmed they will be offering a new pricing tier for U.S. subscribers. The Essential Plan is an ad-supported tier at $4.99 per month, whereas the Premium Plan will also be available at $9.99 per month with commercial-free, on-demand entertainment with 4K, HDR, and Dolby Vision and mobile downloads. Each subscription option includes parental controls and up to six individual profiles. Later in June, a new watchlist feature called My List will also be rolled out on the service.

Good news on finally getting a watchlist.
For those of us that were existing CBS All Access that used the PARAMOUNTPLUS promo. Which we actually paid 100% for first year and have to wait til 2nd year for the 50% off. We'll check your account.
My promo changed from 50% off 1 year changed to 100% off 1 month. I called and they confirmed the 50% off 1 year is still active even if it shows wrong on the website. Reason to call is to get a confirmation on our accounts in case there are any issues in 8 months.

These unskippable Rugrats promos are killing me. And I actually don't mind the show at all, it's just every single time and you can't skip it.

The interface really needs an update...I find it never has the correct episode I'm up to on the front page and I always have to dig into the menus.

It's not even consistent when it comes to episode order on the shows page. For example, NCIS has episodes in ascending order, while MacGyver has them in descending order.

I watched the first episode. It is in SD and in 1.33:1.
I did notice that the the seasons are labeled: Season 1 and Season 3. There's no "Season 2," so don't know what that's about.

re: Paramount+ with Showtime - ViacomCBS streaming service
So I am thinking of going with the Amazon .99 cents for 2 months promo and maybe continuing on the $5 w/ad plan after because I just got a clue that Paramount+ gives you everything you would get if you had subscribed to CBS All Access (of which I am not a subscriber) plus will be the exclusive home of future films like the next Mission Impossible film. It sounds like I should pull the trigger, also, I know it is in the thread title that Paramount+ takes the place of CBS All Access but I would be far from the first DVD Talker to not immediately see what is right in front of my nose, lol.
ETA: Doh, forgot this was tied to your already being a paying Prime member, but other than being able to buy "Prime" member only deals because my brother shared his Prime account with me so I could get fast and free shipping, I do not actually have the means to watch Prime exclusive shows, films, etc., because I am not paying for the service. This means that the .99 cents for 2 months was no longer such a great deal and I passed. I may just buy it a la carte soon since there is now a cheaper ad supported Paramount+ option. Anyway, first world problems right, lol.
