Comcast don't let you fast forward your own damn recordings?! WTF? Or are you talking about On Demand? Because AT&T does something similar. I got so fed up with it, I just watched on the station's website.

Re: Hulu Plus -- News and Notable New additions

I just have regular hulu. I don't have hulu plus.

Last year, I was able to watch the entire first season of Behind the Mask on my regular hulu. This year, I can only watch episode 1 of season 2. The rest of season 2 is hulu plus.

Will the rest of season 2 make it to regular hulu?

I was able to watch both season 1 and season 2 of Quick Draw (another hulu original series) on just plain regular hulu.

There's no information on it being made available at the future or not unfortunately.

Re: Hulu Plus -- News and Notable New additions

I just got an email offering 1 Free Month. I'm not sure if it's available for everyone. It requires a credit card or Paypal account, because they'll charge you $7.99/month once the free trial is over. According to the email, the offer expires on 3/23/2015.

This news is from February, but the original CSI will be available on Hulu Plus starting next month.

14 seasons will be available. Season 15 just finished airing and won't be available yet.

Re: Hulu Plus -- News and Notable New additions

Royal Tea should take advantage of the free month offer if he can. Then he can watch "Behind The Mask" - Season Two - as all 10 episodes of this season are up to watch. (Hulu put the whole season up on Hulu Plus when it premiered in late February.)

Even though it helps Royal Tea - I sorta wish they didn't do that or only put up say two episodes a week. I was tempted to watch the whole season in one day. I've been watching two episodes a week - on Thursdays as thats the day the show premiered this season - Thursday, February 26. I have four episodes left to watch so I'll be done next week.

I just noticed my PS4 was offering a 2 free month deal for new customers. It worked for me even though I already had an account from when I tried a free trial a year or so ago. I guess if I end up liking it I'll buy one of those 12-month passes off ebay for $32ish. Is that what most people do?

Re: Hulu Plus -- News and Notable New additions

Hulu has added the first season - all 10 episodes - of "The Last Ship" which airs on TNT - the second season starts June 21.

Figures I'm the last to know about those 12-Month passes where you only pay $32 or so.

I hadn't heard of this, either, and this is one of the first results I came up with in a Google search.

That said, I would probably give it a shot from a U.S. seller with good feedback who has sold a larger quantity of the physical gift cards. There is one right now with 100% feedback who has them at $49.95 (up from $39.95 last month).

Re: Hulu Plus -- News and Notable New additions

Is hulu getting more cartoon network cartoons? I could have sworn last week the only one they had was Flapjack, but the other day I noticed they also have Gumball and Ben10. Would love to get the full roster of CN cartoons on hulu!

Wonder if this means Hulu will pick-up the second season and show it right away or have it on a week delay because TNT will want first rights to replay the show on their website. (Hopefully its only a one week delay and not two-three week delay like Hulu has for some of shows they have on their site.)

I did a marathon - with a few breaks here and there - of the first season a couple of days ago - like it - will be there for the second season come June 21.

Also, Hulu has an exclusive deal with Cartoon Network: http://www.theverge.com/2015/4/23/84...lt-swim-stream

The Cartoon Network stuff should show up in the "Kid Zone" which is commercial free.

Was hoping for Amazon. I refuse to pay a fee for streaming with commercials.

I heard they were planning an option for AD free for $15 a month. They should've offered that option a long time ago more people would subscribe!

In addition to the Seinfeld deal. Hulu signed a new deal with AMC Networks and their content.

Hulu will become the exclusive streaming home of the Walking Dead spinoff "Fear the Walking Dead"

I would definitely pay $15 per month for ad free content on Hulu. They are also dropping the "Plus" from their brand.

I might bump up and pay more for that, though frankly, given what their competitors charge, it's a little much. I'm sure they'll send me an e-mail if they start offering it.

Where do you hear that? Is it just internet rumors or is there a legitimate source? I hope it's true, because I'd definitely be willing to pay more for an ad-free service.

My other gripe with Hulu is the incomplete seasons. I was thinking about watching Forever (ABC), but they only have 5 episodes.

From the CEO. He said it in 2013 though...

Hulu May Let You Pay More To Go Ad-Free
By Chris Morran September 26, 2013
huluplusOne of the biggest knocks against Hulu Plus is that, in spite of the $7.99 monthly subscription, users are still subjected to ads on most of the premium content. Meanwhile, Netflix and Amazon Prime offer competing streaming services for about the same amount of money but without the annoying ad interruptions. The solution? Charge more for an ad-free tier!
At least that’s what Hulu’s VP of Content and Acting CEO Andy Forssell said at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference.
“Allowing people to pay more and not have advertising at all, I think that’s the right path long term,” Forsell explained, according to Variety. “I’m a big believer in choice… I believe over time we should introduce an ad-free service.”
When Hulu Plus originally launched, it charged $9.99 a month, but soon dropped that price to $7.99 to compete with Netflix. Hulu Plus has ads on almost all of its content, though paying subscribers see fewer ads than those who just watch Hulu for free.
He also expects that more of the networks that contribute content to Hulu — NBC and ABC — to follow the lead of Fox, makes new episodes available on Hulu Plus almost immediately after airing, but delays making content available online for everyone until a week later.
“I have no inside information. But I expect all the broadcast networks to institute a delay as they reach retrans deals (with pay TV operators),” said Forsell. “The economics make that inevitable, but I couldn’t guess at the timing.”

Yeah, that's the last time I heard anyone mention an ad-free Hulu. And that CEO left Hulu a few months later. So, it's probably not happening anytime soon.

I don't get it. Ads are obviously the #1 complaint about Hulu. I don't know why they're so stubborn about offering customers what they want.
