Re: Hulu -- News and Notable New additions

Looks like my HBO promotion bundle that I had going has gone up to its regular price if $26.98 per month. I will be canceling the HBO component and just keeping HULU at my regular rate that I had before.

Mine is ending too. I had HBO for $5 a month for six months. I need to finish Silicon Valley and Curb Your Enthusiasm before I cancel it.

All of the seasons of King of the Hill are now on Hulu. Glad to see that show back on a subscription streaming service.

I've been bummed since Adult Swim decided to stop airing it at 8:00 PM, so this is good news.

That can't be right. website says it's $15/month. That's what HBO Now costs.

Okay, so it's combined with regular Hulu. That makes more sense.

That's what I thought I'd said, but ok.

Looks like the new promotion is for Hulu & Showtime bundled for that same intro price they had for the HBO/HULU bundle. It'll probably only be good for about 6 months worth.

Awesome, thanks D. The cheap promo for HBO ended for me last month, so this comes at a very good time.

Re: Hulu -- News and Notable New additions

Geoffson deleted his comment but I was thinking the same thing.

That still seems like a lot for those two channels. Plus your paying for the Hulu sub.

HBO normally costs $15 per month alone. Cinemax normally costs $10.

Itís not a lot, but youíre still saving a little money with them bundled.

Darn. Weíre currently on a cheap student hulu/Spotify combo plan, but Iím unsure how long it will last given that she just graduated. Tempted to go ahead and bite on this anyway....

For me, the ones I would watch are:
Handmaid's tale, I didn't think I would like this but after S1 won some awards I checked it out and really liked it. S1 based on the book, S2 all new material for the most part.
The Looming Tower (9/11)
11.22.63 (Stephen King)
Beatles: Eight Days a Week

Then these
Future Man
Chance, S1 was really good, S2 dropped some for me.
Castle Rock (Stephen King)
Marvel's Runaways
The Path, slow burn

And if you were a fan of the Mindy Project, the last 3 seasons were on Hulu.
