Roku website says it does 1080 while Amazon says it doesn't.

Sorry that was my fault, apparently there IS a Roku 1 that does 1080.

This is so old it's not on the main comparison table.

I would just pay the extra $12 and get the Roku Stick for that price.

I would suggest just paying $100 and getting the Roku 3, but just in case someone is trying to get in the cheapest way possible Amazing how cheap these things are getting. Buy one of these and you have access to so much content.
99 cent Vudu daily rentals
$10 / month Netflix streaming
$8.25 / month Amazon Prime
Plus tons of free content. Streaming boxes in general are freaking amazing.

The LT is great for an old tube TV in a spare bedroom or something like that. But if you're going to buy a box for your primary big-screen, you will want a current model (Roku 3, Amazon Fire TV, etc.).

Didn't know I would have to re-entry all my usernames, passwords ,e-mail address just to get to the streaming sites I already subscribe too. Takes forever, for someone like me,do get the information correct and it's a major pain.
Update:Warner Brothers Archive requires a password from Roku to link with Roku.
Roku asks for a WWE Network Username when all I have is a password. Update-Email address is username. No mention of that on Roku's end.
Roku doesn't support MLB.tv unless you upgrade to MLB.tv Premium-no thanks

Since the Roku LT device has no on and off button,I have one heck of a time everyday too get the thing to work. I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and now it works. I will try that from now on too see if it works without unplugging everything else.

I don't know of any Roku model that has an on/off button, not even the 3 I have

I just have a normal (free) MLB.tv account, and I don't have any problem using the MLB.tv channel on the Roku. Of course, that only allows me to watch the Free Game Of The Day since I'm not a Premium subscriber. But I just checked it, and it works fine for me.

Maybe it needs a reset button. Just don't understand why I am having so many problems trying to get it too work on a daily basis. Once it works,I don't have any problems. Seems like an off and on button would solve it but they decided not to have it.

There's a way to reboot Roku using the remote. It requires some secret button combination. If you search Google you should be able to find it.

There is no on/off button on any Roku model. You can reset the device by cycling power or by using the remote and the following key sequences...
Reboot: Home x5, Up x1, Rewind x2, FF x2- This is the software equivalent to cycling power. Your device will reset and reboot.
SW Version: Home x3, Up x2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left- This will display your device's current software version and your installed channels.
Quality Settings: Home x5, Rewind x3, FF x2 - This will allow you to manually set to video download bitrate for your device. This is handy if you have a connection that isn't capable of always streaming at the maximum 3.5MBps default. By setting a lower bitrate cap, you sacrifice some PQ but you can reduce/eliminate the # of times your device stalls while renegotiating for lower rates.
Debug Mode: Home x5, FF x3, Rewind x2 - This will access a menu from which you can force a software update, refresh the Channel Store server, perform a full factory reset, and other options. Use with care.
Note that these sequences are all 10 keypresses in length. If you start and mess up, just start over. Also, there are one or two other sequences that I am aware of, but as they tend to primarly be used by channel developers and not the end user, there's no value in sharing those here.
