Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
From wrestlezone.com:
PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE Network issues are still continuing as of this morning. The on-demand content seems to be having issues loading the video box. The live stream has been playing since the launch and have not faced any issue at all.
As for the on-demand content, there are major loading issues, to the point that some content is not even playing at all.
I can also confirm myself that the Playstation 4 Login box has been an issue when trying to log onto the network. WWE is still continue to work on the overload of users that signed up.
MLBAM, who has worked directly with WWE during the launch of WWE Network, told Deadspin that they have not seen anything like this, such high demand of one specific Network, in their 14 years of doing e-commerce.

No wonder there are few old school options . Would rather have it working properly first.

I thought when they initially announced the network that Raw and SD would be available right after they aired, but now in the FAQ I saw where it says they'll be available 30 days later. Was it always this way and i was just initially wrong?

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I think it was always that way, simply because of their contracts with NBCU.

All TV contracts are currently being shopped around as they expire soon. I'm sure WWE will want a clause about the rights for immediate posting; but if I'm a network, I want some exclusivity.

They replay both Raw & Smackdown on the weekend. So I'm guessing the networks will want at least a 1-week hold.

Anyone who signed up for the free trial should check your credit card because it looks like they are putting through charges the day you sign up, even though it says they won't charge your card until one week later. I had 2 charges on my account from yesterday ($1.00, -$1.00, and $9.99). I called the customer service number, it sounds like they outsourced the calls to India, and the woman said the $9.99 charge would drop off in a week and then they would put through the $9.99 charge for the first month. She said the first charges were just to make sure the credit card was valid and would go through. I wasn't happy about it but the combination of her being hard to understand and the quality of the connection made me not want to argue with her. It also sounded like she kept reading from a script no matter what I asked her.
Still can only get 1 or 2 shows to work on my Roku 2 devices, besides the live stream which works great, and nothing on my desktop PC running XP. My other 2 PCs running Windows 7 & 8 play everything I've checked so far.

Gas stations often put in temp charges too, as placeholders until the amount is validated. Sounds like WWE is doing the same.

The latest:
Guess I'm a 20%'er.
"We are currently experiencing technical issues with @WWENetwork's video-on-demand library affecting 20 percent of viewers. Working with MLBAM, we expect to have this issue fully resolved by 6 p.m. tonight."

My mistake-it was here that it was mentioned about the CC charge.

Definitely canceling before the trial ends. I haven't been able to watch anything on my PS3 or 4! Can't make it more than 3 minutes before the buffering kicks in then it freezes up and eventually boots me back to the app home screen.
Also still can't login on my xbox 360.

At least you get booted back to the HS. I have to manually close the app when it crashes.

I just called the support line, and got a guy in Ohio, so not all of their support is overseas.
He was walking me through some tests, and when I started up a PPV, I said "It's on the Benoit warning screen now," and he laughed.

I haven't been able to watch anything except the live stream since it launched. I just wish the live stream wasn't full of repeats.

Had zero problems so far with the live feed. Only watched some of the archive stuff.

I'm really considering cancelling before the "trial is up". I can watch on my iPhone but can't log in on my 360 and video won't play on my laptop. I think they may need to extend this trial period because locking people in for 6 months on a product that may or may not work doesn't seem like a good business practice to me.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
It really must only be 20% of customers, because I have not had a single issue since about 11AM yesterday.
