Yeah, I wouldn't mind picking up some classic Westerns. Odd that they don't have classic war films in there too, though.

I just got that 25% code for watching a free episode. I'll have to see whether I want to use it for this or if I might get something more expensive.

My daughter only got $2. I haven't checked mine yet though. I guess the $5.50 days may be over.

I think the $3.50 credit is every Tuesday this month. That's better than one $5.50 credit.

Would be nice if you could save them all up, but you have to use each one within the week. Will find something to rent with each though, or buy a cheap Lifetime movie with them.

The language says $3.50 for a standard definition movie, or $2 for a high definition one. I did go ahead and get Game Night in UHD, and it applied the $3.50.

I bought The Rock (HDX) and it took off $3.50. It was on sale for $9.99, so I only paid $6.49.

Rent something today, get 50% off a future rental. I.e., get 25% off two rentals, which is worth $2-3.

Cool. I will get Romancing the Stone for sure.

How's The Bridge series? And I assume Bones is just another easily-skippable procedural?

Bones lasted 12 seasons and has close to 250 episodes. And yes it’s a crime procedural if you’re not a fan of that genre.

The Bridge was cancelled by FX after 2 seasons. It’s a very dark serialized crime thriller based on a Swedish series that takes place on the border of Mexico and the U.S. it was good, but never caught on.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I remember when I binged the entire first season of FX's The Bridge -- it was captivating as hell. I stayed in one Friday night, because I had to go to work the following morning and I stayed up until like 4-5 in the morning and then went to work hungover and all. Then shit happened and the second season got delayed or something and by the time it aired - they had deviated from the first season - it just ran out of steam. It was a total bummer I've yet to see the original, which I should since it takes place in Sweden/Denmark.

Heh, funny that was the only one I was looking at in the whole weekend sale. In the description it very much sounds like this even if you didn't mention it(Serial Killer to Drug Cartel, wtf...). I think I'll just grab the 1st season. And I'll give a recommendation to Chance Season 1 as well, I never really made it through the 2nd season (I think I just lost interest after 5 or so episodes) but the 1st season is nothing short of amazing. Well worth the $5.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Is there a way to find out what code was used to redeem a movie? If so, how? I bought a Blu-ray from Walmart, included digital copy. No mention of instawatch where you auto get movie in places. So I get instawatch, like I used to before, but the code inside has to be unique and I know I’ve gotten the instawatch and code sheet still good for another. Anyway, way to find out code used?

Just enter in the code. If you have the movie, it’ll say you already have that movie.

Be careful that can void an unused code. It did for me when I bought a code for a movie that I didn't realize that I already had (Selma) in my library

Do it in an Incognito browser. That way, you'll be sure to be logged out.
