Disney keeps sending me emails that i will lose movies if i don't do something (bc they are closing down and all), convert or something, but if they are in my Vudu, they will be there and i don't have to do anything, right?

Depends where you bought/redeemed them. If you bought/redeemed them in Vudu, then sure those are going to be there, but the main thing is you have to link to Movies Anywhere, that will port them to all of your other linked providers.
Go to the bottom of this page, https://moviesanywhere.com/settings/connect it should tell you if you have successfully imported your movies from Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA).
If it doesn't, you need to link them before DMA goes away.

Ha, I already had all nine due to redemptions and d2d (and own all of them on blu disc or higher). I actually like the Tim Burton one quite a bit. The makeup and prosthetic work are fantastic if nothing else. I would have actually welcomed a sequel to that one-off but know I'm in the minority. I wonder if I still have the art book and soundtrack to the Tim Burton movie...and yes I am serious. Hrmmm.

Anyone have Robocop 1-3 on VUDU? I have the unrated MGM blu and the Shout 2-3. Wondering if 1 is unrated, and quality wise how they compare.

is there anyway to know if a google play code will transfer through MA and thus into Vudu. the movie Coco for instance. if i get google play code will that transfer? thanks.

You look for it to say "Eligible for Movies Anywhere" in the "Additional Information" section:

In this case, Coco is MA eligible, and will transfer.

Thanks for the reminder, I had glossed over it initially. Decided on Amistad and Some Kind of Hero. Amistad, I probably haven't seen it all the way through (I was only 22 when it was released and I was almost never willing to sit through that length of movie back then) and Some Kind of Hero is on Blu-Ray but gets the usual shitty release from Olive, no subtitles.

For anyone who hasn't seen it (or is unfamiliar with it), Mississippi Burning is a remarkable film. It's a fictionalized telling of the Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner murders in Mississippi in 1965. It's one of the best performances by Gene Hackman ever. It features Francis MacDormand in like her first major role (and first Oscar Nomination).
It got a lot of negative press when it came out because it wasn't the true story of the Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner murders, but it never stated that it was. Black activists claimed it glorified the FBI which it probably did. But as a stand-alone film, it's pretty good.

It's one of those movies that came out on Twilight Time but I never got around to picking up.
