I figured it would happen once Walmart sold off VUDU.

I don’t get it. I’ve always had Vudu app on my Fire TV devices without side loading or whatever...

Is there anyway to share your Vudu library, meaning my library (as a link) to someone without them having to set up account or anything and short of giving out my creds?

While it's probably not what you're looking for, you can use MoviesAnywhere to share three movies a month from (most of) your MA library. (They just need to have a MA account, and, IIUC, aftert three movies they receieve, they have to have bought a MA-eligible movie in the last six months).

https://moviesanywhere.com/what-is-screen-pass

You can share most MA movies in your collection. Note that movies from non-MA studios like MGM and Paramount aren't included.

Heads-up: The app on the Fire TV is kind of half-baked, so there might be some issues you will encounter. Let's hope for a later update that could right the ship, since most apps that initially launched are kind of like this at first.

Can anyone play UHD on the Fire TV app? I used to have it sideloaded and couldn't play with that either. I uninstalled the old one before installing this one.
My only option is to play in HDX. In manage Installed Apps it's listed as Vudu FireTV (v7.1.1198)
The product features on the site say: Watch Movies in up to stunning 4K UHD

Yeah it's kind of half-baked, you can't watch free movies yet, and there also some notable bugs, including the "Play" and Pause" buttons causing a content you're watching go forward for some reason, and Alexa being wonky with VUDU. Anticipating likely a update later on at the end of March or around April.

I certainly give them credit for throwing A LOT of sales against the wall right now. I keep looking for a couple titles to add to American Werewolf in London in the three-for-$9 mix and match,

https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...-Flash-Sale/97

Seems like this Sony sale is carried across most if not all of the streaming platforms.

Most movies that are advertised also have the UHD priced the same, if available.

Note: The unrated version of Step Brothers & extended version of Black Hawk Down are not available for sale on Vudu, but they are on some of the other services.

This sale appears to default to SD no matter what you pick. Lame-o!

I think that's only if you're watching on your computer. You can buy the HD version and watch it in HD on your TV.

I checked on both, but no luck. No big deal, just hadn't noticed that the few other times I did a mix n match. Maybe it happened then too ...

At that price, I'll gladly upgrade my DVDs of Groundhog Day and ALoTO to UHD.

When I’m in their mix-and-matches and click on a title to see the details, it will then force the purchase into SD only. I have to completely back out of the deal and start over.

I feel as though I did that more than once with the same results. My fervor to spend money has faded now.

I'll add that Just Go With It is the one Adam Sandler comedy, post-Happy Gilmore, that I actually quite enjoy. It's light and dumb, but also kind of fun.
